The Hills Country Club Handicap Committee
The Hills Country Club has two Handicap Committees: Signature and Classic Club. These committees are a requirement for a USGA-recognized golf association and therefore function under USGA rules and regulations, not under the Golf Committees or the club.
MISSION
To maintain the integrity of the World Handicap System and ensure that each golfer has a Handicap Index that reasonably reflects his/her demonstrated ability.
FOCUS
To establish and maintain a fair and equitable playing field through Peer Review and ensuring the game is more enjoyable by enabling players of different abilities to compete on a more equal basis. Two documents define the committee responsibilities and the player responsibility:
- Committee Responsibilities -
Signature Handicap Committee Charter
Classic Club Handicap Committee Charter
- Player Responsibilities - Handicap Policy
